Muesli for MumsBeing a mum is full on! I recently created this great recipe: muesli for mums.

This muesli is packed full of nutrients that will help keep your whole family healthy and full of energy. A bowl of oats a day is a frequently heard recommendation to help increase your milk supply so breastfeeding mums there’s another reason for tucking in to this delicious breakfast.

What are the key ingredients in our muesli for mums recipe?

The recipe includes Chia seed – a super seed – which is packed with calcium, Omega 3s, protein, potassium, anti-oxidants and iron. Nutritionists recommend 1 tablespoon a day but make sure you also drink plenty of water as they are high in fibre.

I also include some of these ingredients in my smoothies that I make.  It is a great way to add more goodness to them.  In fact you can add the Chia seed to anything really such as a sprinkling over ice cream, over a stir fry to name a few ideas. If you want to read

For some other chia seeds  recipes you could:
