  • 500g organic chicken thighs (5-6 thighs)
  • 1 x apple skin on, chopped into quarters
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • breadcrumbs (optional)
  1. Heat oven to 190 C.
  2. Put chicken and apple into the bowl of a food processor and blitz until you have a minced consistency.
  3. Transfer to a large bowl.
  4. Add egg and oats to the bowl and combine.
  5. Roll into egg sized balls, coat in breadcrumbs and flatten with your hand.
  6. Set aside until ready to cook. You cold freeze them at this point.
  7. Place on a lined tray and bake for approximately 12 minutes.
You can freeze some uncooked nuggets for another meal.
